While packing presents in the car this past Christmas, I noticed this amazing sunrise. So, I grabbed the camera and tripod, and headed down to the dock. There was almost no processing done on this shot. There was fog rolling across the ice, so some of the lack of sharpness is a result of that, and not entirely my lack of skill.
I'm not sure of the artistic merits of this one, but it has sentimental value. This was taken from my living room window on the morning of the birth of my second daughter.
This is the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa. The shot is not nearly as neat as I'd like, but it was taken through a hotel window, so there was a bit of a glare, even with all the lights off. I wanted to open the window for the shot, but my wife (for some inexplicable reason) didn't think taking time lapse photos with a window open in December would be a good idea.
After a long break from this site, during which I had a blog I paid for, I thought I'd come back and give this one another shot. I'll be moving some of my favorites from the old site to this one.
